Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and managing Spotfire programmers and projects. Coordinates project phases from development to production. Acts as liaison between internal and external clients.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients.
  • Manage Spotfire programming, testing, mapping, data feeds, and documentation in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.
  • Understanding of Clinical Data Management
  • Familiar with output from major EDC systems (Medidata Rave and Oracle Inform)
  • Responsible and accountable for all Spotfire deliverables (Quality & Timelines)
  • Assist in developing and implementing data feeds to import into Spotfire.
  • Assist IT in testing and evaluating new upgrades
  • Assist in developing, revising, and maintain core operating procedures and working instructions.
  • Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Director of Reporting and Analytics.
  • Meet objectives as assigned, and interact with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with teams and external clients.
  • Interact with corporate team and CDM team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Serve as liaison between clinical data management and Spotfire development team, leading and assisting with writing, analysis, and review of requirements, Agile iteration planning, capacity, and management, and development of business processes and workflows.
    • Manage issue backlogs and iterations using Agile methodology.
    • Optimization of business processes and workflows for project and development team planning.
    • Facilitate communication within development groups and business units.
    • Conduct iteration capacity planning in collaboration with onshore and offshore resources.
    • Help define scope and technical objectives to align with overall business strategies.
    • Provide technical guidance and act as subject matter expert.
