Great! Because we are looking for colleague, who will join our Finance & Accounting team of six in Warsaw. You will book mainly in modules of AP, Travel Expenses, and General Ledger, using US GAAP and local accounting standards.

 

Your responsibility will be to:

-        Support month-end process, complete reconciliations according to deadlines, and follow-up/resolve discrepancies

-        Perform and review tasks closely related to ledger, e.g. accruals, provisions, journal postings

-        Prepare accounting records for independent audits

-        Elaborate monthly finance reports including variance explanation

-        Ensure compliance of  the processes and decisions with the IQVIA’s SOPs and legal requirements

What will help you to be successful?

-        University degree in the field of Accounting or Finances

-        Very good analytical and numeracy skills

-        3-5 years of experience on a position of Accountant or similar

-        Ability to understand and write in English language with grammatical accuracy, preferred level is B1 or higher

-        Good understanding of Polish GAAP, general understanding of VAT procedures

-        Advanced knowledge of Excel

-        Previous experience with multinational procedures and processes is strongly preferred

-        Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules and Hyperion is a plus

-        Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is an asset
