CRA Needed to Oversee Clinical Trials for Expanding Pharma Firm

An expanding pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a CRA that would be able to oversee clinical trials to make sure they are in accordance with GCP/ICH guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and written skills as well as experience in Clinical Phase I-IV trials. 

The company prefers to organic growth so there is no ceiling for career progression. This is strictly an expansion hire; it is something that will be tailored to the right candidate.

The CRA will have responsibilities that include:

  • Participate in weekly conference calls to review progress on ongoing trials
  • Review all SAEs and ensure medical director sign off on all appropriate procedures
  • Track completed CRFs and set up systems where CRFs are entered rapidly into the system
  • Managing CRO and third party vendors by developing working relationships
  • Managing clinical research assistants to maximize their role in research

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

  • 4+ years in pharmaceutical research.
  • Monitor trials following company SOPs and in accordance with GCP/ICH guidelines.
  • Managing a large amount of data from clinical trials that include varying therapeutic focuses.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience with Oncology, respiratory, rare diseases, and CNS strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science field strongly preferred
