Job Summary:

Reporting to Head of PMO, and working closely with Program Directors and Program Leaders, the PMO Manager will take program management responsibilities for Operational services programs. The PMO Manager will also be responsible for the development of program management standards within Kinapse, as well as PMO people development activities.

Reporting to Head of PMO, and working closely with Program Directors and Program Leaders, the PMO Manager will take program management responsibilities for Operational services programs. The PMO Manager will also be responsible for the development of program management standards within Kinapse, as well as PMO people development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management leadership across program initiation, maintenance and close out.
  • Ensure that:
  1. Appropriate Service Level Agreements are set and managed against.
  2. Program / service line level risks and issues are proactively identified and managed, and senior stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
  3. Contractual commitments are monitored and achieved.
  4. Appropriate key performance indicators are in place, and actively used to manage the program.
  5. Processes are mapped to the appropriate level of detail, and maintained with the delivery team.
  • Develop and actively manage against the overall program plan. You will work with the program team to ensure the appropriate allocation of tasks so that individuals understand and can meet their individual accountabilities.
  • Manage the day to day operational relationships for internal, client and subcontractors; working with the Program Lead where issues are identified that require escalation and commercial discussions.
  • Actively manage resource requirements, and ensure program/service line recruitment needs are escalated to SL leadership through resource forecasting processes.
  • Administrate BCP's and manage version controls.
  • Develop program management standards, methodologies and implementation strategies for others to follow.
  • Financial management including budgets, forecasting, tracking costs and invoicing.
  • Business development including supporting RFI/RFP responses.
  • People management including providing pastoral care to new joiners and “buddies”, coaching others in technical discipline and processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong track record of PM leadership experience of programs across initiation, maintenance and close out, including financial management, workload tracking and metrics, resource management, continuous improvement, status reporting, lessons learnt, contracting risks and implications.
  • Experience of translating client needs into feasible business solutions.
  • Experience of delivering tailored, concise and targeted communications across verbal, non-verbal and written media.
  • Proven ability to educate others on financial management and other aspects of program management.
  • Evidence of developing standards and methodologies for others to follow.
  • Qualifications in program management disciplines (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP etc.) are desirable but not necessary.
