A leading MedComms agency with a global client base is looking for an Associate Project Director or Project Director to lead their projects creating and developing a variety of medical communications materials over a range of therapy areas.

You will be utilising excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead your assigned projects, working to manage your junior staff, coordinating with current clients and suppliers and presenting pitches and proposals to develop new business.

Along with taking responsibility for leading the projects, you will also be closely involved in the creation of the materials, reviewing the teams editing, writing and research and advising on improvements and changes.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Project Manager looking for the next step, an existing Project Director looking for a new challenge or someone with a Medical Writing background looking to step into a hybrid-type role.

Role / Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
Leading projects to create and develop a range of medical communications materials.
Provide leadership to project team including 2-3 line reports.
Supporting with new business development.
Building strong relationships with current and new clients.
Contributing to strategic direction of the team and projects.
Managing finances and budgets of assigned accounts.

Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualification in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
3-4 years + Medical Communications agency experience.
Proven line management experience.
Proven financial and budgetary experience.
Experience in reviewing, developing and implementing editorial processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience of working well under pressure.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
High level of organisation, attention to detail and time-management.
Pro-active and enthusiastic.
