Currently we are searching for an Associate Applications Administrator to join our team.

The Associate Applications Administrator provides implementation, operational and maintenance support for enterprise applications, ensuring a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance. They will serve as Tier 2 support for these applications and act as a Subject Matter Expert. The primary focus of the position also includes import/export of data and reporting.

As an Associate Applications Administrator, you will also:

 

• Install and maintain enterprise application software, application code deployments and configuration changes.

• Execute change requests and qualifications.

• Liaise with other internal groups, vendors and clients.

• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

• Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

• Build stable working relationships internally.

Qualifications

The requirements include ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of application problems, if necessary, working with our system development team, systems/network administration personnel, other departments at PPD, or with software vendors. You should be able to interact with relational databases (SQL Server) and apply your knowledge of desktop operating systems and desktop productivity applications.

We will also look for:

• Previous experience (3-5 years) in diagnosing problems and coordinating the implementation of solutions with other groups.

• Strong Excel knowledge and reporting skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL and application database structures

• Self-motivation with the initiative to see issue resolution through to completion Business focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong business acumen
