MEDICAL EDITOR - Project Manager

Job Summary:

I’m currently looking for an experienced Medical Communications professional specifically an EDITOR.  I’m working with a growing Medical Communications Agency based in Cambridge looking for experienced Editor’s to grow with their team.  This company are renowned for the autonomy they can provide and guidance/progression they can give.   This is an opportunity to work with likeminded people in a growing, impactful company.


Key responsibilities:

  • copy-editing draft text
  • performing quality control checks from study reports and scientific literature
  • proofreading final deliverables
  • creating and/or briefing artwork
  • implementing client feedback
  • developing evidence-based text for communication materials such as slide kits and abstracts
  • working in close collaboration with a team of writers, editors, and project managers.

The role may also require occasional client contact and communication with key opinion leaders.

You will have a strong scientific background, with a degree in a relevant life science or medical subject (2:1 or above). A postgraduate qualification and/or previous experience within a medical communications agency, pharmaceutical company, or publishing environment is advantageous, but not essential.
