Job Summary:

Asha Mistry of Umbilical Life is recruiting a Senior Medical Writer for a full-service medical communications agency based in Oxford.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Medical Writer to work with pharmaceutical clients creating excellent scientific content. The agency offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits including flexible working. Typical documents include working on publications, slide decks, ad boards and congress materials.

Experience and qualifications:

  • A life-sciences degree
  • Proven experience working in a medical communications agency or similar environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a medical writing role
  • Familiar with a variety of therapy areas
  • Excellent scientific written and communication skills
  • Has key attention to detail
  • Has flexibility to travel
  • Is able to support and mentor junior medical writers
  • Foreign languages are desirable – German, French or Mandarin
