For an International Pharmaceutical company, located in Amsterdam, TalentSource Life Sciences is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison. In this role you will act as Senior member of the Liaison team, providing accurate medical scientific advice about the Products both internally and externally. Initiating and maintaining peer-peer relationships with leading health care professionals and researchers and ensuring compliance and quality according to national guidelines and local Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintaining relevant clinical developments regarding various products and clinical pictures to be able to act as an expert: reading articles, organizing journal clubs, training at HQ
Training and answering medical questions from commercial colleagues
Increasing scientific knowledge among health care professionals, particularly at KOLs, in collaboration with colleagues

· Providing medical advice to health care professionals about the products of the company and the associated syndromes

· Pre-launch activities including education regarding new products, pipeline and treatment areas according to local regulations

· Facilitating, coordinating and following up Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS)

· Translating data in order to convey it in the right way

· Conduct scientific activities in accordance with local legal requirements (symposia)

· Attending local and (inter) national meetings and conferences

· Identifying and developing professional relationships with Health care Professionals
maintaining and improving relationships with healthcare professionals, in collaboration with colleagues.

· Visible contribution to & pro-active role in medical team

· Proactive role in (inter) national projects

· Medical-scientific support for both the sales team and the marketing department

· Receiving and handling external and internal questions regarding company products and the treatment areas

· Compliance assessment of projects and events regarding CGR and (local) SOPs

· Ensuring medical high-quality content of projects and events

· Ensure compliance with regard to the indication of the products of the company

· Assessing promotional activities and, if necessary, promotional materials
actively sharing medically interesting information with others within the company, gained after, for example, attended conferences and articles read.

· Providing internal training and explanations of medical substantive information concerning the products of the company.

· Actively sharing important data with physicians, discussing all aspects of the data in a reactive, scientific, objective and balanced way.

· Sharing medical scientific information with COLs and other important HCPs.

· Organizing, realizing and facilitating investigator initiated studies (IIS).

· Applying the medical strategy to all activities that are initiated.

· Assessing sponsoring activities, hospitality and hiring of speakers.

· Assessing promotional materials, ie CGR and SOP, technical and medical content.

· Provide internal training and explanation regarding compliance with regards to CGR and SOPs.

Education/Experience:

· Advanced life science degree (Medical Degree preferred)

· Detailed knowledge of construction of the human body

· Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally within Respiratory, Neonatology, Transplant medicines and rare disease therapeutic areas

· Forecasting/Budgeting skills

· Strong English and Dutch speaking and writing skills

· Demonstrated communication, formal presentation and teaching skills

· Able to translate technical clinical, regulatory and medical data into clearly defined and understandable strategy/policy documents
