My client a Global Medical Technologies Company focusing on Patient Monitoring Technologies is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join the their existing sales team.

Responsibilities include:

-Responsible for sales of products in assigned territory (Dresden and 1 hour radius from there)
-Planning and executing strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or whole hospital)
-Engaging in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive & exclusive products
-Ability to make product demonstrations both with physicians and hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing manager etc)
-Partnering with appropriate distributors & OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
-Providing information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory and production requirements
-Participating in hospital bid tenders
-Maintaining thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products versus competitive products and in-service end users
-Providing regular sales forecasts to upper management
-Managing expense budget for all activities

Ideal Candidate:

-Previous Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems highly advantageous
-Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospital and the ability to communicate value based solutions
-Experience selling to physicians & hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers)
-Fluent German & good level of English
-Based in Dresden region
