Medical Affairs ManagerFrance     Due to an expanding pipeline in the Virology area, we are looking for a medical delegate for an International Pharma company, located in France.  In this role you will support the launch of products and act as a key member of the team, providing Medical Leadership, advice and support to senior management and provide support to priority centers, in particular in the West of France.

Due to an expanding pipeline in the Virology area, we are looking for a medical delegate for an International Pharma company, located in France. In this role you will support the launch of products and act as a key member of the team, providing Medical Leadership, advice and support to senior management and provide support to priority centers, in particular in the West of France.

You will ensure the promotion and proper use of medicines with healthcare professionals in compliance with the legislation in force. You will also support the requirements of all stakeholders and monitor actions to improve customer satisfaction. In addition, you will also design a regional action plan based and develop associated projects around assigned products. Understanding the complexity of dealing with the management of HIV patients would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Member of the Medical Team
  • Provide Medical Leadership, advice and support to the Senior Management team
  • Develop and execute the medical affairs strategic plan and activities
  • Active participation in Market Access/Outreach
  • Provide technical and strategical information for new products and assess their likely impact on the market
  • Contribute to the Company representation to the scientific, regulatory and academic communities
  • Representation of the affiliate and its medical strategies and implementation plans to the Medical Teams
  • Ensures compliance with current regulations: D.M.O.S (French anti-benefits regulations), PV, AMM, VM Charter and fleet safety regulations and all other rules and regulations

Education/Experience:

  • Diploma of medical advisor as a Medic or experience as a pharmacist
  • Advanced life science degree (Medical Degree preferred)
  • Previous experience as a medical representative, a good knowledge of the hospital environment and knowledge of HIV would be real assets for rapid integration

Knowledge/Skills Profile:

  • Demonstrated communication, formal presentation and teaching skills
  • Able to translate technical clinical, regulatory and medical data into clearly defined and understandable strategy/policy documents
  • Proven relationship building skills with key opinion leaders
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of assigned medicines in order to advise on use
  • Ability to act as advisor in the complex environment for all healthcare professionals
  • Ability to build lasting meaningful relationships with healthcare providers
  • Ability to work in complex matrix environments
  • Ability to analyse results from various tools and understands how to interpret data in relation to the regional plan activities
  • Proactive, energetic, self-driven, assertive
  • Flexibility for varied working patterns
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Strong communication skills and Interpersonal skills to influence and network and good English communication skills
  • Teamwork
  • Has an ability to recognize links between commercial opportunities and clinical development needs
  • Is able to travel
  • Languages: French and English
