Position Overview

The Service Desk Administrator is responsible for delivering end-to-end support in accordance with IT Service Level Agreements. By partnering with end-users and technology groups, the specialist ensures all incidents are analyzed, resolved, and reported back within the promised timeframes.  

Specific tasks would include:

  • Provide tier 2 technical troubleshooting support
  • Assist Level I with responsibilities when needed
  • Create and update procedures
  • Create and update checklist
  • Work with other groups or vendors to resolve issues
  • Assist with IT projects
  • Procurement of computer equipment for employees
  • Train and coach Service Desk Level 1
  • Maintaining desktop images with updates and improvements
  Qualifications
  • Technical degree in a related field and/or similar certifications needed and 3+ years’ related experience to include service desk and customer relations experience.
  • Experience with incident troubleshooting and escalation desired.
  • Experience working in an ITIL Framework
  • Microsoft technology stack including Windows 7, Windows 2003-2012 Server, MS
  • Active Directory administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and writing skills; English + local language, if relevant.
