Location: Hampshire/Surrey
Salary: Dependent on experience
Duration: Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join a Top 10 Global Pharmaceutical company who are recruiting a Quality Assurance Representative to have responsibility of maintaining and developing a Quality Management System to encompass all relevant company activities, provide quality oversight for products distributed within the UK. You will also work closely with the Head of Quality to apply quality risk management principles across the quality system, provide quality oversight to external parties and support quality assurance audits and audit plan for internal and external audits.

Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):
Support and deputise for Head of Quality when required.
Support integrated quality system to oversee all relevant affiliate quality / compliance activities (GMP, GDP, GCP, GPP and company quality standards) through governance processes.
Writing and revising quality document; SOPs, Quality decisions, CAPAs etc.
Investigate deviations, identify root causes, provide recommendations and implement corrective actions.
Train personnel in product quality processes.
Support quality assurance audits and the affiliate audit plan for internal and external audits.

Experience required:

Eligible to be a Responsible Person under the Wholesale Distribution Authorisation and oversee quality related aspects of the distribution chain.
Extensive knowledge of and experience in pharmaceutical healthcare operations, quality control, distribution and knowledge of EU and UK regulations are essential including GMP and GDP.
5-7 years ideally of progressive experience within a quality function and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Practical experience of managing quality systems and product quality related issues.
Experience in technical report writing such as quality agreements, deviations, change controls, self-inspections, risk assessments and product complaint reports.
