Key Responsibilities:

•Campaign Development Services, part of the Market Development Service Group within the Commercial Services Practice (GCS) within Product Lifecycle Services (PLS), delivering:
-Launch of multi-channel brand campaigns across single/multiple geographies for major Novartis brands (across all Novartis divisions)
-Creation of insights-driven optimization strategies for in-market products, leveraging Multi/Onmichannel components driving increased brand performance across all channels
-Customization/tactical planning for specific digital marketing needs
•This role is responsible for the smooth and effective management of people and service delivery to ensure smooth execution with a focus on quality.
•To do this you should have a strong background in global/local brand leadership and multichannel excellence, plus an understanding of project initiation, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance.
•Lead and facilitate Omni-channel workshops with customers of PLS
•The appointed candidate will need to be adept at working within a matrix. They will have to collaborate closely with the Customer Liaison Directors/Managers, design and production teams, and senior level/c-suite pharma execs to ensure their projects are delivered to agreed scope, timings, budget and quality.

The role calls for an individual who can focus on the detail, being thoroughly professional and on top of all aspects of their projects, while being aware of the bigger picture.

•Managing and delivering Campaign Development projects
-Run world wide/local country brand campaign development workshops to define content strategy, KPI’s, determine customer profiles; advise on customer segmentation etc.
-Create, execute and evaluate campaign strategies that reach new customers and increase market share
-Plan campaigns - use market research to understand marketplace and make recommendations on how campaign can reach target audience
-Work with Creative to define overall concept and messaging and/or adapt overarching brand messaging
-Build multichannel/customer touchpoint/campaign journey’s
-Advise on best channels to resonate with target market (eg Remote Detailing, Rep Triggered Email, Campaign mail, social media, web content, display advertising etc)
-Define how overarching messaging will adapt across channels and alternative approaches
-Advice on the best digital platform mix for individual campaigns i.e. NVS channels, phone apps, social media etc.
-Communicate campaign insights - determine the overall value of campaign i.e. if it drives new customers to website does this correlate with a boost in market share?
-Communicate campaign performance i.e. is it meeting KPI’s or do we need to head back to the drawing board.
-Manage and deliver multiple projects for various types of customer projects to agreed scope, timings, budget and quality.
-Work with design and production teams (potentially a mix of internal teams and external suppliers located across multiple geographies) to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects.
-Work with customers’ third party agencies and suppliers to jointly scope, manage and deliver projects when appropriate.
-Use project tools to assign and track issues when appropriate.
-At the start of a project, analyze the areas that could potentially throw the delivery off track, log risks create a mitigation plan and actively mitigate against them.
-Be on top of projects and know the status of timings, key milestones, budgets, resourcing etc. at all times.
-Understand the workings and needs of the customer(s) you are partnered with; have a good understanding of the brands you work on – their definitions, their core characteristics, how they should and shouldn’t behave
-Understand the key technical aspects of the development process for campaign enablement materials as appropriate to your customer.
-Be commercially aware: At all times you should have an idea of the status of the budget of your projects; WIPS should be updated weekly and any variations from budget accounted for and where possible mitigated before they happen.
•Being professional
-Be positive and a force for good in the team – even when faced with difficult problems. Be solutions focused.
•Building and safeguarding relationships
-Build a partnership relationship with your customers; good rapport here is key to success of both the delivery process and customer relationship and satisfaction.

- Manage conflicts and issues effectively, and seek guidance from your manager on any potentially sensitive or difficult situations.

-Be plugged in to new trends and developments across the industry and particularly within the customer’s sector.
- Understand the different types of available and emerging media, particularly online, including constraints and opportunities presented by each.
- Understand what makes a good campaign or campaign material.

The Novartis Global Service Center (NGSC), Dublin, was set up in 2013 and is located in a state-of-the-art facility on the Merrion Road in Ballsbridge. Minimum requirements

Requirements:

-Experience in pharma local and global marketing preferably within a pharma company or from (in part) a creative/digital agency
-Experience of multichannel/digital project
-Deep brand/Therapeutic experience in Pharma
- Must have can do/ get up and go attitude; hands on leader
-Capabilities: Multi-channel and Omni channel strategy design; Tactical design of MCM campaigns
-Influencer; Experienced workshop facilitator in the digital marketing space
-Deep experience in other industry trends and awareness of the enabling technology for Marketing Automation
-Understanding of Multichannel KPIs and techniques to capture the data and reporting insights
-Change management
-Development of Content Strategy
-Ability to guide execution
