Now a great opportunity exists for an experienced professional to work with our team in Turkey at the position of:

Import/Export Coordinator, Istanbul

 

The professional is responsible and accountable for the planning and execution of moderate to complex Import & Export activities for assigned studies. Responsible for coordination of the Import and Export transactions in Turkey and, potentially, other countries in EMEA region. Actively problem solves and suggests solutions to import/export challenges.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

• Ensure that import and export activities are done according to PPD requirements, Client requirements and applicable regulations.

• Perform any other logistic and administrative activities according to their needs and growth of the Department.

• Meet with the Import/Export Manager to discuss import and export issues. Provides appropriate recommendations and alerts.

• Ongoing Training on new Regulations concerning both Import/Export and GMP activities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

 

• Bachelor Degree level educated.

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Knowledge of local regulations covering all kinds of Import and Export activities

• Familiar with clinical supply terminology, practices and principles

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

• Ability to handle multiple projects, possess "can do" attitude

• Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving.

• Maintains tracker for Import/Export activity for Turkey

• Daily interaction with Vendors: Custom Brokers, Forwarders, Couriers and Depots

• Good awareness of the Clinical Supply Chain process: Imports/Shipping & Delivery/ Exports

• Focus on Customer Service aligned with high standards of quality & excellence

• Strong organizational skills required.

• Be a good and reliable team player.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Good level of English (verbal and written)

• Computer skills: working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word is required
