The role is not a doing technical accounting role, but more a facilitate, guide and improve an offshore teams understanding and quality of RTR services provided to multiple finance teams.

Requirements:

Finance Project Manager (RTR)- East Berkshire

Location: East Berkshire, suitable for someone residing in London, Middlesex, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire or for someone looking to relocate

Salary: 350-400 depending on experience

An outstanding opportunity at a global FTSE 100 organisation. The role is not a doing technical accounting role, but more a facilitate, guide and improve an offshore teams understanding and quality of RTR services provided to multiple finance teams across entities and geographies.

Role Responsibilities:
Resolve complex issues within MEC/Reporting scope acting as an escalation point to manage complexity and ensure resolution, escalating appropriately and working with internal business partners, Service Management and the Outsource Service provider.
Complete the delivery of
o Month end reporting
o Reconciling inter-company balances and obtaining confirmation from counter parties
o Uploading inter-company balances to Group
o Preparation of selected balance sheet reconciliations
o Service Improvement
To coordinate and deliver training sessions and/or materials as appropriate to the businesses to enable improved service quality, timeliness and KPI results.
Assist RTR Operation Manager in the delivery of service improvements by proposing and owning procedural development
Be an ambassador for the department by optimising opportunities to deliver process improvement to our customers (through root cause analysis).

Qualifications/Experience Required:
Fully Qualified Accountant
Ability to lead regular governance calls, manage offshore suppliers work, and build positive credibility with internal clients, the FCs and FDs
Experience of handling process improvement and change for global entities
Experience working with a Shared Service Centre is desirable
