Here at Syneos Health we are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, Site & Patient Access working home or office-based anywhere in Europe.


The position supports Site and Patient Access leadership in delivering and maintaining the Site and Patient Access objectives in their assigned region and contributing to the overall long term vision and strategy to grow the Company’s access to high performing sites, improving patient engagement and overall Site and Patient Access service.


Essential Functions:

  • Guides Site and Patient Access Managers in delivery of global site relationship initiatives.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to establish the Company as a preferred CRO for sites and patients.
  • Engages with therapeutic business units with support and the implementation of specific site and/or patient access initiatives.
  • Deputizes for Site and Patient Access Director/Senior Director at relevant meetings.
  • Leads efforts to define, develop and implement standards and procedures for the Site and Patient Access program with Site and Patient Access leadership; evaluates process and services against those standards to enable delivery and meet performance targets for Site and Patient Access


  • MSc or BSc (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient recruitment/retention/engagement or in strategic planning, design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical studies and site management
  • Excellent experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotech, contract research organization, clinical research site or patient engagement/recruitment organization 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken
  • Flexibility to travel to the US and throughout Europe (up to 25% travel involved)
