You will be sourcing, recruiting, and referring best-qualified candidates for both high volume vacant positions as well as senior level and niche vacancies, in an efficient, proactive and responsible manner.  You will organise and facilitate the entire recruiting function, demonstrating extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedures as well as relevant laws regarding employment practices.  Not only being highly organised and pro-active, but remaining abreast of industry trends and adapt to increasing demands and changes will be the key to being successful in this position


 

We are seeking candidates who can partner effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, guiding and advising them on the recruitment process, offering solutions to complex recruiting needs but also the ability to manage expectations and be constructive adapting to change.


 

Preferably you will be from a life science recruitment background and possess in house recruitment experience, however those with life science agency recruiting background who demonstrate the motivations and desire to build an internal talent career will also be considered.   PPD will provide you the opportunity to build on your best practice recruiting experiences, give you the environment to share your ideas and help influence how we are approaching recruiting for PPD.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: ·         Ideally relevant in house recruitment experience 
·         Preferably experience recruiting in the Clinical//CRO/Pharma/Biotech industry   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ·         Prior experience of direct sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing ·         Experience of using Social Media recruitment tools ·         Knowledge of CRO industry with a general ability to assess candidates' fit within the industry ·         Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills ·         Flexibility to travel ·         Good English language and grammar skills ·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team ·         Strong customer focus, with the ability to work with all levels of management ·         Demonstrated ability to apply rational thought process, judgment, and a corporate perspective when focusing staffing and selections strategies on business issues ·         Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail ·         Self motivated/Positive attitude  This is a permanent position within our Cambridge team.
