Job Summary:

Principal Clinical Data Manager - Home based - USAi-Pharm Consulting are working with a prominent CRO to search for an experienced Principal Clinical Data Manager to join their US operations.


The Client

This position exists with a CRO that has a presence on almost every continent globally. They are on the search for a competent Senior Clinical Data Manager who is looking to progress into a Principal Clinical Data Manager role. This need is due to an ever-increasing need by their clients for their world-class services.

The Role

The position is to manage key clients that this company has been working with closely for several years. You will act as a liaison internally providing leadership and management to the data management team as well as collaborating with all relevant departments internally and externally.

Key competencies for this role:

* Excellent client facing skills
* Experience with forecasting and budgets
* Ability to negotiate and manage clients
* Excellent communication skills

The position itself isn't excessively hands-on, rather, you will be the go-to regarding oversight of study actions like database start-ups, large mid-study changes, or database locks. Other duties include:

* Mentoring of junior staff
* Responsible for client contact and enquires
* Key involvement and leadership of new processes, training and procedures for the data management team
* You will create reports as required using relevant methods, you will coordinate the design of Case Report Form and you will have a key part to play in the training of other to make full use of the DCS.

Experience required:

Prior experience as a Senior Data Manager doing the leading and hands-on tasks within a CRO would be preferred.

Budget experience as well as experience with handling finance or costings, you will be eligible for consideration.

* 6+ years’ experience working within Clinical Data Management
* Understanding of clinical trial databases, clinical data flow/reviews
* Knowledge of how to build and design (e)CRF
* Good clinical practice (ICH-GCP)for detail and an ability to demand high standards from their data, their team and their environment

Location: Home based anywhere in the USA
