Requirements:

ProClinical is seeking a Head of Business Unit Biosimilar Germany to support the Biosimilar business in Germany. This jobholder will have responsibility to develop and implement marketing plans for key biosimilar assets that will ultimately drive demand and uptake in a very aggressive and competitive market.

He/she will also have responsibility for agency management, patient and caregiver materials development and implementation, campaign development, competitive intelligence and alignment with market access and medical affairs.

Job Responsibitlies:

* Work across a variety of Biosimilar to deliver expected results on complex, multifaceted marketing projects to support brand success.
* Develop and execute communication plans, messaging and branding campaigns targeting consumers.
* Manage promotional budget and spend.
* Set strategic direction for agencies and manage projects and agencies within time and budget parameters.
* Understand therapy area and brand performance vs. competitive landscape set to ensure we are differentiating our offerings and providing for better customer experiences.
* Identify through data, areas to optimize customer engagement strategies such as customer centricity, content adjustments, channel mix, and customer journey sequencing to improve customer engagement, customer experience or volume/ROI.
* Effectively communicate brand vision, strategy and objectives to internal cross-functional partners and sales leadership to drive brand business objectives.

Skills and Requirements:

* 7-10+ years of progressive industry/relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years experience with biosimilars (launch or defense strategy)
* Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales management is a plus
* Prior experience with biologics preferred; experience with biosimilars (launch or defense strategy) a plus
* Affiliate level marketing experience industry highly desired
* Clear understanding of the various market access and payer environments across Europe
* Experience working in international environments (ideally with U.S. based colleagues)
* Demonstrated strong marketing acumen, including product launches, segmentation and targeting
* Ability to assess marketplace, product-specific and financial data and translating this into meaningful, appropriate and executable
* Ability to improve product performance by developing novel approaches to business challenges.
* Demonstrated competency in agency management and budget management.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members and across departments to insure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs.
* Ability to deal with all levels of the organization.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to a diverse range of audiences.
* Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work with an Alliance partner is required.
* Ability, comfort and commitment in/to operating in a highly-regulated environment and industry, which requires understanding of the imperative for compliance with company policies, procedures and other relevant internal or external laws, regulations and the like.
* Must be willing to travel 25-35% (including weekend travel as needed), domestic and international.
* Fluent German and English is required.
* MBA or advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD) required
