A well-established, Oncology-focused pharmaceutical company is looking to add a SAS programmer (Systems Analyst II) to a growing but reputable programming team. Join a global data company that aims to minimize uncertainty risk in clinical trials. Located just outside of the Raleigh-Durham you’ll be close enough to enjoy the major activities of the city while still far enough to avoid the congestion of the city.

As a Clinical SAS Programmer you would be responsible for the development of SAS programs to create non-standard data files, specifically vertical and incremental data file requirements. Additionally you will work closely with Data Managers and Project Managers to finalize transfer specifications and interact with the clients.

Requirements

*

BS in computer science or a related field
*

Minimum 5 years experience in BASE SAS products and procedures
*

Experience with DB programming a plus
*

Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry



Responsibilities

*

Support Clinical Study Managers to ensure studies are carried out according to the protocol, SOPs and principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
*

Provide day-to-day departmental/project support activities such as filing and updating the TMF

Identify potential compliance gaps and provide support to other departments
