Sandoz is currently recruiting for a Performance Unit Head to join their UK team!

Job purpose

The purpose of the Performance Unit Head, (Commercial Leader) role is to develop and implement innovative approaches to deliver business results for a defined portfolio including financial targets, and manage internal processes and capabilities for the business in line with strategy, set in partnership with BU Head.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage all sales and marketing activities as well as defined budgets for team
• Ensure accurate and timely performance tracking and forecasting tools are in place for brands
• Focus on Commercial Excellence and capability building with sales teams
• Actively engage in development of short and long terms business plans with Business Unit head and other relevant functions, e.g., Medical, by analyzing and monitoring market / competitive trends
• Support management updates locally and globally as needed, including delivering forecasts for financial cycles after consultation with BU Head
• Responsible for developing a strong successful team: recruiting, on-boarding, coaching to ensure the ca-pabilities in the team are fit for future  Collaborate across business unit and organization to maximize available resources

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have

• Graduate with advanced degree in business or marketing
• ABPI qualified desirable English
• Branded pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience promoting to specialists (7 years +)
• Detailed knowledge and experience dealing with the NHS, CCGs and procurement
• Able to think strategically with tactical ability
• Strong organizational and development capabilities
• Able to successfully navigate through ambiguity
• Successfully manage cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen
• Strong influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities
