The company is engaged in the discovery and development of human monoclonal antibody therapeutics using novel monoclonal antibody therapeutic platforms
They are looking to recruit a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to join their Technology R&D Groups Biology Team to perform a variety of molecular & cellular biology activities in support of the companys antibody therapeutic programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Genetic engineering, culture and cryopreservation of mouse ES cells
Maintain quality control of ES cell lines
Genotyping of mouse ES cells
Genotyping of transgenic mouse lines
Molecular biology related to technology development: cloning, DNA prep and QC etc
Maintain high quality daily records
Assist in technology development and improvement
Show good organisation of daily tasks
NOTE: 1 weekend in 4 is required to be spent on-site maintaining ES Cell Lines, this time will be given back in lieu.

Requirements:
Educated to BSc/MSc in a relevant discipline (cellular/molecular biology or similar)
Experience in a variety of tissue culture techniques, mouse embryonic stem cell culture experience is highly desirable
Excellent knowledge & expertise in a variety of molecular biology techniques, including PCR & DNA pre
Experience in sterile practices is highly desirable but not essential
Ability to multitask, high attention to detail, team-worker & good communication skills
