This is an opportunity for an Endocrinologist/Diabetologist to take their first step into the pharmaceutical industry in a regional medical affairs role. 


Entry Level Medical Advisor – Endocrinology/Diabetes
South East

This is a great opportunity to work for one of the global TOP 10 pharmaceutical company, with a fantastic, varied portfolio in diabetes.  They are looking for a motivated, influential person to join their well-established team and provide their medical expertise.  They are also prepared to give you all the development necessary, without experience in the industry.  (You MUST be a specialist)

To provide medical expertise in Diabetes specifically across the Alliance product portfolio, to the United Kingdom (UK) / Republic of Ireland (ROI) affiliate, regional and global teams as required

Initially the role will include full responsibility but the scope of the role may vary in the future. 

• To develop effective partnerships with relevant functions within the partner alliance organisation, (e.g. Clinical Operations, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Medical Information, Global Product Safety, Training).
• To develop effective partnerships with clinicians, other key influencers and external groups.
• To provide visible leadership to other members of the Medical Department and the broader UK business

To contribute Medical Education activities which may include business planning, approval of materials and joint working with other functions.

Strategic Leadership
1. Contribute to affiliate and Alliance business planning process
2. Provide medical leadership within the Medical team
3. Take accountability for the appropriateness, objectives and the content of Advisory Boards
4. Provide strategic medical input into wider business decisions that affect the performance of your products
5. Provide leadership within the Medical Department / Affiliate on a formal and informal basis, to include involvement with Affiliate-wide project teams
