Job Summary:

Asha Mistry of Umbilical Life is recruiting an Editorial Team Lead for a specialist Healthcare Advertising agency based in London.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior/Principal Medical Writer to work with pharmaceutical clients on pharma and/or consumer health products. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking for more responsibility to manage junior writers and reviewing work. The agency offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting 2-3 junior writers
  • Reviewing work from junior writers
  • Lead writer on materials
  • Working on a variety of promotional materials e.g. sales aids, leave pieces etc.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 6-7+ years medical writing experience
  • Familiar with a variety of therapy areas
  • Excellent scientific written, reviewing and communication skills
  • Has experience in line management or mentoring junior medical writers
  • Ideally has medical communications or healthcare advertising agency experience
