The company is engaged in the discovery and development of human monoclonal antibody therapeutics using novel monoclonal antibody therapeutic platforms
They are looking to recruit an exceptional Scientist to join their Biomarker Development as part of their R&D Group.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Establish and deliver clinically relevant biomarker assays

• Provide input into assay development strategies required for individual projects and the subsequent data analysis

• Serve as lead biomarker scientist on some late stage projects to establish predictive biomarker hypotheses, including indication selection and markers of response.

• Contribute to the strategic views and guidance on biomarker clinical plans using novel approaches and incorporating new technological capabilities

• Design, develop, run or supervise in vitro primary cell based assays (Receptor occupancy, IHC assay, transcriptomic, cytokines analysis etc..) supporting the biomarker strategy of our clinical candidates for all of the company’s therapeutic areas

• Maintain laboratory notebooks to standard required for regulatory filings and publications. Develop and assist in documentation of novel IP related to biomarker discoveries (support patent filling)

• Ability to oversee bio-sample management activities across multiple clinical trials.

Requirements:
• Educated to MSc/PhD level in a relevant discipline (Immunology, Pharmacology or similar), with at least 2 years relevant postdoctoral or industry experience

• Experience in GLP, clinical research or bio-sample handling within an industrial setting is an advantage

• Knowledge in molecular and cellular biology and immunology is key. Knowledge of and experience in aspects of FACS, transcriptomics, IHC, multi-colour flow cytometry & human cellular assays is highly advantageous

• Effective team player and ability to collaborate with cross functional clinical study teams and external CROs.

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interface with outside vendors, consultants, and team members. Demonstrated strengths in planning, organisational, analytical skills, time management, problem solving, and attention to details.
