Role / Description
A global MedComms agency is looking for a Principal Medical Writer to take full responsibility for the writing of a range of publications, medical affairs and commercial deliverables over a variety of therapy areas including oncology, haematology or immunology.

As well as using your extensive scientific knowledge to deliver written work, you will also provide editorial/proofreading support to other team members and provide strategic scientific support to the client services and senior teams.You will be utilising excellent leadership and management skills to line manage and mentor junior writers, identify training needs, while also using strong business development skills to lead pitches and presentations alongside the Client Services and BD team.

The agency itself is a mid-sized global medical education agency, privately owned but with the support of a global network of medical communications companies. They work collaboratively across the globe on a range of therapy areas and clients.

Location
London, Cheshire or Manchester (potential for home working)

Salary
Up to 60k per annum (dependent on experience)

Candidate Requirements:
Life sciences degree (preferably MSc/PhD)
Strong relevant writing experience (either agency or pharma side)
Experience in oncology, immunology or haematology.
Proven leadership skills.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with experience of working to ABPI.
High level of organisation and time-management.
Pro-active and enthusiastic.
