Role / Description
A recently established MedComms agency is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to take responsibility for a fast-paced oncology publications account working on products still at trial phase.

As well as using your extensive oncology knowledge to deliver written work, you will also provide line management/mentoring support to junior team members and be able to identify business development opportunities. You will be utilising excellent leadership and communication skills to mentor junior writers as well as discuss accounts and strategies confidently with clients.

The agency itself is a small agency with employees in the UK and US working collaboratively across the globe on oncology and MS accounts to deliver publications and commercial accounts. Despite only starting in the UK in 2017, they are a growing agency who have the support of a larger med comms network so can offer a boutique/start-up feel but with an established support structure.

Location
London or Manchester (potential for home working)

Salary
Up to 50k per annum (dependent on experience)

Candidate Requirements:
Life sciences degree (preferably MSc/PhD)
Strong relevant writing experience (either agency or pharma side)
Experience in oncology (ideally).
Experience in publications (ideally).
Proven line management and/or mentoring experience.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with experience of working to ABPI.
High level of organisation and time-management.
Pro-active and enthusiastic.
