A recently-established MedComms agency is looking for an Account Director (or experienced Senior Account Manager) to work across a multiple sclerosis/neurology.

Role / Description
A recently-established MedComms agency is looking for an Account Director (or experienced Senior Account Manager) to work across a multiple sclerosis/neurology account on a blockbuster product with deliverables including publications (largely) and a growing med affairs offering.

Joining as an AD, you will become part of the core management team, so would need strong leadership experience to not only lead the account but line manage employees, manage resources and support staff training. Strong account management experience is key, as you will be leading the account, managing timelines and budgets and being the point of contact for the client.

As well as leading accounts, this role would be working on a range of business development activities so experience in delivering pitches and presentations and developing new and organic growth would be advantageous.

The agency itself is a large privately-owned agency within a global medical education network, who offer a fast-paced working environment and a variety of work, working across an equal spread of publications, med affairs and meetings in a range of therapy areas.

London, Cheshire or Manchester

Salary
Up to 63k per annum (dependent on experience)

Candidate Requirements:
Life sciences degree (preferably life sciences)
Strong relevant account-handling experience (either agency or pharma side)
Proven experience in business development and pitchwork.
Proven line management experience.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with experience of working to ABPI.
High level of organisation and time-management.
Pro-active and enthusiastic.
