Job Summary:

I am currently partnered with a medium sized biopharmaceutical company that are looking for an expert in PK/PD to join their team. This position requires strong experience working on biolotherapeutics and understanding the pharmacology behind these drugs.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the PK/PD strategy for all biologics projects.
  • Using in vitro and in vivo data to succesfully predict first in human dosing.
  • Creation of PK/PD models to test hypotheses and make an important decision based on these results.
  • Development of biomarker strategy to understand the drug mechanism.
  • Monitor outsourcing of work to CROs and academia.

Requirements:

  • Educated to PhD with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • A number of years supporting the PK/PD of biotherapeutics.
  • Strong understanding behind the pharmacology and drug mechanism of action.
  • Track record of developing the PKPD strategy from early discovery through to early clinical development.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to lead a team in a matrix environment.
