We are currently seeking a Principal Consultant, RWE & Data Analytics to conduct/lead RWE analyses projects in the field of Epidemiology and Health Economics.

The role can be flexibly based in one of our EMEA offices (limitations apply).


Key accountabilities:

• Write and review project proposals
• Write and review study protocol and analysis plans
• Develop and manage client relationships
• Have deep knowledge of RWE data sets and how best to select the right data sources given the study question at hand
• Provide statistical advice to peers and clients
• Conduct statistical analyses, primarily in SAS (other software could be used, such as R, STATA and WinBugs)
• Lead SAS programmers to conduct data manipulation and statistical analyses
• Verify/validate analysis results
• Write reports summarizing study results
• Project management of the statistical parts or whole projects
• Write manuscripts, abstracts, conference posters
• Communicate with clients on a regular basis (project updates, results, discussion, present capabilities, discuss new potential projects)

QualificationsIdeal candidate should possess:

• A Master’s degree or PhD in the area of outcomes research, epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, health services research, or a related field
• Fluent English, additional language will be an asset
• A minimum of 10 years’ related experience with designing and running retrospective database analysis studies
• Consistent success track record of cultivating and managing client relationships
• The candidate should possess extensive knowledge of EU and US healthcare claims and EMR databases along with strong skills in SAS programming
• Candidate should possess solid understanding of EU regulatory process and EU 5 HTA agencies including NICE
• The ideal candidate will also have experience and training in statistical modeling,
• Recent Pharmaceutical / CRO/Consultancy experience
• Strong project management skills
• A high degree of written accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, especially in the relaying of technical information and project concepts
• Flexible, determined and self-motivated
