Our client is a leading global pharma with an excellent reputation and a strong product pipeline.

They have recently created a new, stand-alone position for a Compliance Manager based in their Hertfordshire office.

Reporting to the Medical Director, this is an excellent opportunity to join a career supporting employer in a role that you can make your own.

Our client is looking for a talented individual to join their medical affairs team in a EMEA focused role they are looking for a medical affairs professional with thorough and up to date knowledge of the ABPI code.

This is an great opportunity for a current final signatory, or for a pharmacist looking to take a step up into a final signatory role, to work with the business in creating a robust set SOPs in line with the ABPI code.

Medical Compliance Manager (Code Reviewer, Code Certifier)

Salary :
Competitive market salary plus an excellent package including car allowance, bonus, healthcare and pension.

Hertfordshire ideal for Compliance Managers residing in or near Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Watford, North London, Hoddesdon, Hitchin, Hertford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Stevenage, Edgeware.

Job role:
Reporting to the Medical Director, this is a stand-alone role within the company with focus on ensuring company policies and procedures comply with the ABPI code as well as IPHA and EFPIA codes. The Compliance Manager will be the champion for code awareness and responsible for making sure all SOPs are up to date with any changes. Further responsibilities include;
- Support the drive for a robust compliance culture minimising business risk
- Review and approval of promotional and non-promotional material Final Signatory (if qualified)

Ideal applicant:
To fulfil this Medical Compliance Manager position, our client requires a professional with thorough ABPI code knowledge. Our client will accept applicants who are already final signatories or looking to be up-skilled. This role is open to applicants who are looking for a step up into a dedicated compliance manager role. Experience and skills required also include;
- Experience in reviewing and writing SOPs
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of IPHA and EFPIA codes of practice
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritising skills
- Self-starting and adaptable
