This is a home based position - decentralized out of the Uxbridge office.

Job Purpose:
Design, develop and deliver training modules for a variety of operational groups within PAREXEL focused on commercial operational procedures and commercial systems and tools. Provide support for audit and inspection activities and CAPA/quality issue support as assigned.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Training
    • Design and develop training modules for a variety of operational groups within PAREXEL focused on commercial operational procedures and commercial systems and tools.
    • Determine best method for training implementation; instructor-led training, self-learning, etc.
    • Collaborate with in-house design experts on development of final training materials.
    • Revise functional, system, tool and/or partnership related training materials as needed.
    • Coordinate, schedule and deliver functional training, system, tool and/or partnership related training as assigned.
    • Perform training-related administrative tasks as assigned (e.g. production and communication of compliance metrics).
    • Attend (or where required, lead) internal training-related meetings.
    • Provide consultancy on training related matters.
    • Maintain a sound familiarity with PAREXEL systems and related processes.
    • Identify improvement opportunities related to training, audit/inspection and quality issue management.
  • Compliance
    • Provide audit and inspection support, as assigned. This may include: providing assistance and advice for audit and inspection preparation; providing training-related or other input for audits and inspections as assigned; reviewing assigned audit/inspection responses.
    • Provide support for management of quality issues. Facilitate and advise on corrections, corrective and preventive actions related to designated quality issues.
    • Remain informed about developments in relevant regulations and guidelines.
QualificationsSkills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle highly complex projects/tasks, potentially spanning different SBUs.
  • Substantial previous clinical trials experience, with emphasis on GxP and compliance.
  • Client and quality focused approach to work.
  • Ability to effectively interface with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexible approach with respect to work assignments and new learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and to demonstrate and foster teamwork within the group, as well as, across the organization.
  • IT literate: experienced with Microsoft based applications and general knowledge of personal computer functions.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the position.
  • Excellent ability to think and work globally and be culturally aware.
  • Ability to remain calm in times of stress.
  • Excellent ability to deliver effective training where required.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • English proficiency (written and oral) required.
  • Substantial relevant Commercial Operations experience required.
  • Previous training development and/or delivery experience preferred.

Education:
  • Educated to degree level (technology, biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline preferred) or equivalent qualification or clinical research experience.
