Hendre Moolman at CK Clinical is recruiting for a Pharmacovigilance Scientist to join a research-focused pharmaceutical company at their site based in Welwyn on an initial 6 month contract basis.

This role is located in an easy to reach business park via car or train.  The site is easily commutable from London and the surrounding areas.

The Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Initiate and triage cases for all adverse event reports received from various sources using agXchange IRT.
- Accurate data entry skills from processing adverse event reports from clinical trials, post marketing studies, spontaneous sources and regulatory authorities using the ARISg database.
- Medical assessment and created concise and chronological narratives.
- Pro-actively manage workload, ensuring that qualifying case reports requiring expedited reporting are identified and submitted to regulatory authorities within the defined timelines.

Further responsibilities will include:
- Review of eCRF forms for set up of RAVE/ E2B study electronic reporting.
- Review of the ARIS safety database to identify, triage and delegate the processing of 7 day SUSARs.
- Identify solutions to coding related challenges with MedRA, and other process improvement initiatives within the organization and also provide training as required.

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Life Science Degree, with appropriate experience in pharmaceutical safety. You will also need to have knowledge of global Pharmacovigilance regulatory obligations, as well as an ability to evaluate, analyse and interpret data, and draw conclusions, independently.
