We have a contract role for an Early Medicines Research Physician to operate in the Translational Medicines space for a growing Biotechnology company with a strong and exciting Immunology portfolio. Working from the EU HQ based in West Great London (M4 Corridor), you will be in close proximity to the Research scientist who are on site as well as the regional and global commercials teams.

Your role/project will be to provide leadership and input to all clinical aspects of early drug development, ranging from input to target selection through to PoC decision point by working as a key member of the TA project team and subsequently the Clinical Sub-Teams (CST) which you may lead.  You will also work with external experts to establish Translational Medicine study methodologies that can be applied to Immuno-bone clinical development programs.
 

Experience needed:

  • Registered medical doctor (preferably with MD or PhD post-graduate qualification) with extensive experience in clinical Immunology, Rheumatology or other relevant specialties e.g. Allergy, Dermatology.
  • Experience in early drug development either as PI/sub-PI in external clinical trials as a practicing clinician, or gained via industry roles
