Job Summary:

We are looking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Thetford plant on a permanent basis and report to the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. You will be responsible for leading the Occupation Health function and programme, and will develop and implement occupational health procedures and practices, ensuring that the facility is compliant with UK legislation and Baxter Corporate Occupational objectives.

Occupational Health Nurse

We are looking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Thetford plant on a permanent basis and report to the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.

You will be responsible for leading the Occupation Health function and programme, and will develop and implement occupational health procedures and practices, ensuring that the facility is compliant with UK legislation and Baxter Corporate Occupational objectives.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Absence and Case Management
  • Pre-employment and job placement medicals
  • Annual full medicals for relevant site employees
  • Health Promotion Initiatives
  • Health Awareness and Wellness events
  • Hearing Conservation program and annual vision screening
  • Provide monthly reviews of Occupational Health performance to the EHS and Facilities Manager

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing and appropriate qualifications to practice in the UK (PIN registration up to date)
  • Occupational Health Nursing Qualification - Minimum diploma level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential, proactive approach to work essential.
