*2nd Line Field Engineer required by leading Pharmaceutical firm based in Basingstoke*


IT Support

*IT Support required by leading Pharmaceutical firm to travel to client sites in the South of England*

A leading Pharmaceutical firm, currently require an IT support with a background in healthcare to consult with clients on system context, hardware and network configurations for the companies LIMS systems.

Upon joining, the IT Support can expect to travel around customer sites in the South of England and work with clients connectivity to the companies systems. The IT Support will be expected to install, configure, upgrade and maintain the companies hardware and software on client site and remotely when needed.

In terms of skills, the IT Support should be very customer focussed and have a good knowledge of IT Support and basic Network fundamentals. Any experience of the below would be desirable;

• Server, OS’s, Windows 2008 server, VMWare
• Healthcare Messaging Protocols (BCI, ASTM and HL7)
• RS232 Interfaces
• Networking

This opportunity would suit an IT Support Engineer who has worked in a laboratory or healthcare setting, whether this be with a Pharmaceutical firm or the NHS, who would like to get involved in some really interesting projects and learn a lot. If this sounds exciting, please apply within!
