As a real world evidence and outcomes research professional you will obviously enjoy the challenges of striving to harness the full potential of real-world data to help to enhance the understanding of disease and the real-life experiences of patients…, and this is exactly the type of personality, attitude and approach that my client is looking for as it expands its Global Real-World Evidence team.

As a RWE Scientist/Leader, you will be responsible for designing and executing projects using real-world data to inform strategic internal decision-making, support external decision making by key stakeholder groups such as policy makers, payers, and prescribers and contributing to the wider epidemiological and medical understanding of specific diseases.

But this is only half of this role, as it’s always about the internal and external relationships that define success as it’s also about putting your heart, soul and skills into making a difference for people living with severe diseases. You will work within an amazing team culture and with teammates from incredibly diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise. In addition, you will focus on making life better for people with Neurological disorders and optimizing patient outcomes while working on a truly innovative and expanding Neurology portfolio.

Ideally you will enjoy the drive for innovation and creativity and have strong strategic and tactical capabilities, with good experience and success in working with multidisciplinary, cross functional and cross-cultural project teams. You will also have the ability to proactively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups to synthesize thinking, building advocacy and empowering implementation of regional and global solutions in support of portfolio performance and patient outcomes.

Experience required: a minimum of 3 years successfully delivering global and/or local RWE projects (studies using large healthcare databases, prospective observational studies, epidemiology support of drug safety…) from conceptualisation to publication within the pharmaceutical industry or with a recognised expert consultancy or academic centre of excellence; demonstrable publication record in relevant peer reviewed scientific and/or clinical journals.
