Job Summary:

Technical Transfer Lead - EU - Global Life-Sciences organisation

Requirements:

I am continuing to partner with one of our most ambitious Life-Sciences clients who are continuing to expand their Technical Operations group on a global basis. Now with the newly created need to identify a key figure within the EU team reporting to the global Head, we are now searching for the role ‘Technical Transfer Lead - EU’ to work from a key office based in the North of the UK. In this challenging position, the successful applicant will build key relationships across the CMO partners to improve the product life-cycle for commericalised products coupled within incorporating NPI into the current methods.

Responsibilities

  • Key technical expert for CMO projects in relation to post product approval changes to ensure the CMO partner is working to the agreed and expected parameters
  • Provide key assessments and qualification for New Product Introductions
  • Execute New Product Introductions once devised
  • Ensure the CMO partners are implementing Product Life-Cycle changes 
  • Build, manage and leverage key relationships within the CMO network
  • Key member of the due diligence group when assessing potential CMO partners from a technical evaluation perspective
  • Review all Validation activities at CMO partner sites
  • Assist with trouble shooting tasks
  • Provide Technical support to all GMP investigations
  • Subject Matter lead for evaluating new product/packaging equipment/technology etc.
  • Evaluate alternative Raw Material providers linked to the CMO
  • Project leadership for all technical post approval activities
  • Review trends and new regulations in the industry and act accordingly with measures which are taken
  • Ensure projects and initiatives meet budget requirements
  • Assist the Global Head with maximizing global Compliance across the CMO partner network
  • Overall Technical Lead for CMO partners within the EU

Skills required

  • Must have at least a BSc or higher education in an Engineering discipline, Life-Sciences or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Life-Sciences sector linked to Small Molecules
  • Key relationship building skills are a must
  • Can demonstrate key skills in leading and managing CMO partners
  • Excellent technical skills in GMP, Compliance, Validation and technical transfers
  • Project leaderships skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Can work office based in the North of the UK (some remote based working possible)
  • Can travel up to 40% to CMO partner sites in the EU
  • Driven, enthusiastic with strong communication skills
