As the Strategic Project Delivery Specialist, you are part of the Global Procurement organization and will report directly to the Strategic Project Delivery Lead. You will support transformational projects in coordination with Strategic Project Delivery team members and stakeholders to realize critical deliverables for the Global Procurement organization.

Global Procurement is a key function that delivers value to Roche by leveraging market knowledge, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of goods and services and the management of Roche's third party spend. Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal business partners, Global Procurement helps bring innovative tests and medicines to patients.

The Strategic Project Delivery Specialist supports completion of assigned project activities and the development and implementation of deliverables against strategic and transformational projects that are part of Strategic Project Delivery project portfolio. This includes driving project progress and contributing to scope, risk and issue management, as well as supporting project change management efforts with stakeholders. In day to day operations the Project Delivery Specialist works with a moderate number of cross-divisional global, regional and local procurement stakeholders to complete primary responsibilities. The Strategic Project Delivery Specialist works with select number of functional stakeholders
Your responsibilities:

1. Core Accountabilities

●    Execute and deliver specific designated activities and deliverables throughout the phases of assigned project(s)
●    Work closely with Strategic Project Delivery Managers and Lead to execute day-to-day project management tasks. Track project plan progression, RAID logs (Risk, Actions, Issues, Decisions logs), and other project related tools
●    Collect required inputs from stakeholders to progress project milestones 
●    Provide regular updates on project progress, potential challenges for assigned tasks and propose mitigation plan or initiatives 
●    Execute project communication to core project team and provide required inputs to counterparts across Strategic Project Delivery team, including Change & Communications and PMO 
●    Ensure project related material and information is up to date and communicated when needed to project stakeholders and wider audience.  Drive project documentation development and ensure accessibility for project team members (and end users where appropriate). In alignment with the Capability Building function, provide content input and delivery support for project specific training.

Your Qualifications:
●    Relevant Bachelor degree
●    5+ years Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Project and/or Process management
●    3+ years relevant project-based experience
●    Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies
●    Understanding of change & communication management
●    Proven skills in relationship building and customer focus
●    Able to prioritize, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a short time frame for multiple internal clients
●    Good analytical and soft skills
●    Ability to quickly understand new topics and adapt to new situations
●    Business level fluency in English
●    Life Sciences industry or management consulting experience is desired
●    Project Management Professional certification is desired
