Job title: Shift Analytical Technical Officer – Quality Control Department 

Location: Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 3JL

About the role

Our shift Analytical Technical Officers are an embedded member of our production shift team, working closely with the production operators to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards. 

The candidate will work a rotating shift pattern covering both day and night shifts, carrying out a variety of analytical test methods. 

You will work as part of our site quality team reporting directly into The Quality Control Laboratory Team Leader. 

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following experience:

Good analytical skills in laboratory techniques of GC, HPLC, IR and wet chemistry

Thorough understanding of the GLP documentation requirements of a QC lab

Excellent written/recording skills

Good organisational ability

An understanding of production processes and products
