A forum dedicated to demonstrating disease causality of the gut-brain axis and bridging the translational gap between the human gut microbiome & effective treatments.

As the microbiome revolution continues to impact translational research, there has been tremendous progress to better characterize the bi-directional communication between the CNS, ENS and gastrointestinal tract to help treat well-known brain disorders including ASD, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and depression.

With newly emerging pre-clinical and clinical data that drives this field from correlation to causation, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that gut microbiota modulations have significant effects on brain development, function and behaviour.
