Recruitment – the future is now.

All you can be sure of is that the recruitment industry will remain highly competitive.

It’s not only because agencies will fight for the jobs and the employers for the candidates.

In the era of big data, machine learning, and AI – talent acquisition teams will also need to compete on the level of technology which will have enhanced the recruitment process to the extent that would enable both sides of the fence to connect instantly. The bright new technologies of now are bringing humans together as never before.

The recruitment process gets completed. The contract is drafted and finalized but the candidate says no at the very last moment. Why? Because there was a better offer. We may have the data driven power to reach candidates with even more precision, but we’ve always known that getting to the right people at the right time is only half the journey.

You can have a state-of-the-art, top-notch, cutting-edge technology and still fail to deliver. Paradoxically the major game is being played elsewhere. Advanced technology cannot eliminate a human factor by itself, at least not in the recruitment industry. Another human can. If skilled enough.

If you have skilled recruiters who are able to influence candidates in order to uncover their true motivations – stay calm, you are already in the future.
