What does a Feasibility Manager do?

Typically, a Feasibility Manager:

  • Reports to, and receives instructions from, the General Manager, or Vice-President for Marketing, or Vice-President for Sales, or Vice-President for Sales and Marketing, depending on the decision of the management;
  • Analyzes proposed project—be it sales and marketing or medical—in terms of proposed expenditure and sales revenue in return;
  • Computes for the cost-effectiveness of every proposed project;
  • Gives feedback to a concerned manager, or managers, regarding the feasibility of implementing his/their project(s); and
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned to him by whoever is designated as his superior.

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Economics, Business Administration, or Accountancy;
  • Preferably with some units in courses related to marketing, business, statistics, or life sciences;
  • Has worked in a pharmaceutical company, or related field, for at least 3 years as Economist, Accountant or Feasibility Manager.

A Feasibility Manager, after at least 5 years, might progress to a Brand Manager, or Business Development Manager.
