"We continue to prioritize bringing critically needed drugs to the hospital pharmacy for daily use as well as addressing products that are on the nationwide shortage list. Our goal is to ensure that, as a trusted provider, we will assist the hospital pharmacy in providing our novel products that are easy to use, reduce unnecessary steps in compounding, and are cost effective." said Joseph Cosgrove, Chairman, President, and CEO of Pentec Health. Mr. Cosgrove added "We have been very pleased with the reception that Pentec Health has received as a new entrant to the 503B market led by our proprietary Snap-N-Go and Dilute-N-Go® products and we look forward to exponentially expanding our product offering in the very near future."
Snap-N-Go products are concentrated, sterile solutions that come in single-dose vials. Each vial delivers a precise dose or desired concentration, which is not available commercially when introduced into a diluent bag of choice. In the forward positions, these vials can be stored in automated dispensing machines (ADMs) for rapid retrieval, dose-tracking and subsequent administration to a patient by a nurse utilizing a standard vial-to-bag adaptor/activation process.
Dilute-N-Go products are concentrated, sterile solutions that come in single-use syringes. Each syringe delivers a precise dose or desired concentration, not commercially available, when its contents are introduced into a diluent bag of choice. Dilute-N-Go products reduce the number of error-prone steps and the time associated with manual compounding by up to 85%.
Pentec Health is now registered as a 503B outsourcing provider for Snap-N-Go and Dilute-N-Go products in 36 states, with Washington DC and Maryland being the most recent additions.
