Ingram current lives in Nashville, Tennessee, but grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned his math and philosophy degree at Yale University, then went on to study medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He ended up earning his medical degree and completing residencies in both general surgery and plastic surgery.
Over the years, Ingram has become a widely recognized expert in his field due in part to his publishing peer-reviewed articles on subjects including surgical techniques, the anatomy of the human body, and medical devices.
