(NASDAQ: ANIX), a biotechnology company focused on using the body's immune system to fight cancer, today announced it has extended its collaboration with The Wistar Institute and Dmitry I. Gabrilovich, M.D., Ph.D. Gabrilovich is a pioneer in the field of myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) biology and its roles in cancer progression and therapy response. The project is focused on understanding the role of MDSCs and how they can be used in diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
