New Synergy Vision Asia-Pacific Lead to Consolidate and Expand Growth in Region
Medical communications agency Synergy Vision (SV) is promoting Corinne Whitehead to Head of Asia Region. The move follows SV’s exponential growth in the Australia office, which was set up in Sydney in 2015 to meet the needs of multinational clients looking to work in their own time zone in the Asia-Pacific region.
Corinne was an inaugural team member of SV’s London team, when the agency launched in 2007, having formerly worked for 5 years in a large London-based events agency across its pharmaceutical business. She has a wealth of experience in global pharmaceutical compliance and local regulations. In 2015, Corinne moved with SV to Sydney, taking with her the agency’s strong team-focused ethos and excellence in delivering for clients. From 2019, SV will augment this cultural dynamic with a senior secondee from the London HQ, sharing updates and working alongside staff in Sydney for a 4-week period.
Ffyona Dawber, CEO, SV explains: “This strategically important appointment recognizes Corinne’s skill and success so far in building SV in Asia-Pacific, to cement a truly global reach that is underpinned by relevant local knowledge and accessibility for clients around the world. Almost equally important, is Corinne’s understanding of our near-unique people and client-led ethos, which is a cornerstone of
SV’s success in everything we do.”
Corinne, Head of Asia Region, SV comments: “Much of our success is driven by word of mouth, our local approach within a truly global network and our medical communications expertise in a region where PR agencies tend to dominate. Our plan is to harness this opportunity and to grow the office and client base simultaneously, to continue to strengthen our foothold in this important region for the benefit of our clients and for the SV global network.
