The emotive. engagement gallery opens its doors for the first time

The emotive. team kicked off the year with an event at a local art gallery. Surrounded by examples of their creative work and awards won in 2018, the team celebrated a successful year whilst the leadership team outlined the vision and plans for 2019 and beyond.

emotive. Managing Director, Chris Edmonds set the scene, explaining that the strategic and communications work that we do can change lives by helping people living with disease get treated with new and amazing therapies. By driving engagement with all key stakeholders in the care pathway, we can improve advocacy, access and uptake for novel products. Team members were asked to write their own personal pledges for 2019 in line with this vision.  

The event was also an opportunity to hand out our four Value Awards, awarded every 6 months to team members who have been voted on as most closely embodying our company values; Empowerment, IntegrityCollaboration and Imagination

The team also took part in some fun, interactive challenges. The photobooth provided a chance to don costumes linked to last year’s many social events and a doll’s house formed the backdrop for the team to come up with ideas for a new office space in 2020. We also took part in the emotive. coffee challenge, guessing how many coffee capsules the team consumed in 2018 as well as a taste test to decide on some new office snacks.   

Lizzie Nayman, Deputy Managing Director said: “It was lovely to see our work from last year on the walls, as it’s not often you are able to take stock of how much has been achieved by the team. All round, it was a great event and a fabulous way to start the year. We will definitely do it again next year. As we grow, it’s important that we take time out sometimes to remind everyone why we do what we do and reset our priorities for the year. As the agency continues going from strength to strength, the team are now all excited about 2019 and beyond.”
