Medical communications specialist Synergy Vision (SV) is 2nd overall in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2019 in the Small businesses’ category[ii] and the highest-ranked healthcare communications organization in ratings published today by Great Place to Work™. This is a leap up of nine places from SV’s position in 2018 and reflects the agency’s ongoing commitment to putting the team first, enabling all-round success to follow. It is the third year that SV has qualified for the awards.
In total 132 organizations qualified as the UK’s Best Workplaces™ this year, following a rigorous assessment. This combines the Trust Index© survey findings, which must be submitted by every single employee and account for two-thirds of the criteria, alongside a review of leadership and people practices through the Culture Audit©.
Eileen Gallagher, MD, comments: “We have built our success by putting the team first, with trust at the heart of everything we do. Clients have long-recognized that our culture transcends physical boundaries and helps our people to deliver the difference in partnership and with integrity, while keeping a good work-life balance. This external recognition is the icing on the cake!”
SV was also recognized for Excellence in Wellbeing by Great Place to Work® earlier this year, just ahead of the launch of its first Senior Development Programme, designed to augment personal development plans already in place and catapult mid-level managers to senior positions. January 2019 also saw five newcomers to SV’s third bespoke Graduate Development Programme, which first launched in 2014.

About Synergy Vision
Now in its 12th year, SV has offices in London, Dublin and Sydney and provides strategic communications support and medical education programmes for clients across Europe, North and South America and the Asia-Pacific region.
The agency prides itself on being the partner that clients can trust – striving to build lasting relationships by exceeding expectations, maintaining high levels of professionalism, and being honest and transparent every step of the way.
SV has an unusually team-focused ethos, promoting a positive work-life balance and excellence in delivering for clients. In December 2018, it launched a 4-day working week without reducing pay, an initiative thought to be the first of its kind in the UK healthcare communications sector.
A raft of accolades going back to 2009 reflect the agency’s commitment to embedding a positive culture across all levels of the company and its unwavering focus on delivering effective and measurable programmes for its clients. SV first secured core Investors in People accreditation in 2011 and achieved Gold accreditation in 2017.
In 2018, Hannah Charleston, a senior account manager at SV, triumphed to take Aspiring Communications Manager at the prestigious PharmaTimes Awards, while colleague Kate Herring was one of the three finalists.
